For as long as I can remember, I’ve had the need for creative outlets. In my adult life, I started in graphic design, which morphed to web designer and then somehow I accidentally found my way into editing videos, which led me to begin shooting them. My love for every part of the process has allowed me to try my hand in almost every single part of the film making process, which ultimately is why I became a director and producer. In 2015, I released Back in Time, which was a full-feature documentary that looked at the fan culture of Back to the Future. It gave me incredible opportunities to meet some of the most amazing people and travel all over the globe shooting a promoting the film. At the same time, I began traveling for my corporate work and have been fortunate to film projects on almost every continent on earth.
I have come to realize that as creatives, so many of the people I meet share so much in common. Two things stand out. First, the mind never turns off. I’m always thinking about the next project and opportunity. Secondly, as a community, we can all learn from each other. Creatives have so many different talents, and its interesting to learn from one another. And with this, the idea of the manifest was born. Talking to creative artists from all over the creative world, to talk about what life is like as an artist.
Through this site, I will also document my own work and travel. My hope is to keep this blog to document my own work, grow from my own experiences, and help others on their own journeys.
